PumpOut USA™

Pollution levels continue to grow as more and more boats use our waterways. Congress passed the Clean Vessel Act (CVA) in 1992 to help reduce pollution from vessel sewage discharges. The Act established a five-year federal grant program administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and authorized $40 million from the Sport Fish Restoration Account for use by the states. Federal funds may constitute up to 75% of all approved projects with the remaining funds provided by the states or marinas.

Our pumpout boats provide the solution for the disposal of this on-board sewage. Also, we are able to help our clients research not only the correct vessel size, but the available state grants of up to 75% of the cost of these pump-out vessels.

Almost every state has their own Clean Vessel Act (CVA). The purpose of the CVA is to remove pollution from area waters.
